Hope in Times of Crisis

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,

which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus’. Phil. 4:6-7, NIV.

We share with the rest of the world the concern, heartache and anxiety that has enveloped us today. Globally, the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) has led to the

boycotting of general meetings and conferences, mandatory close down of schools, and even the halting of church activities in affected countries; therefore, the call to

live in isolation and avoid social gatherings.

In these times of the crises and social disruption, the Christian’s faith may begin to face the question of whether there is hope and assurance from the Almighty God. Indeed,

there is.

The possibility for people to be insensitive and selfish around these times are very high. The love for others may begin to wax cold as people may tend to care for themselves

more than others. Hope can only be assured in us when we continually spend time at God’s feet, pray together and express the love we profess.

We encourage that everyone adheres to the directives of the President. In the midst of the directives, we as a ministry are doing all that we can to help resource as many

Christian leaders, churches and groups to make the best use of technology in engaging their members.

May the peace of God which transcends all understanding abide with us all.

Amen!
